Holy Week was the most intense week of all history. In this week of compressed eternity the meaning of history is revealed. The God-Man faces death, darkness, depravity and cosmic powers of evil. Rejection! Betrayal! Denial! Crucifixion! Burial! Resurrection! Prophecy fulfilled! Hidden mystery unfolded! Victory won! Atonement made! Captives freed! Gates of Hell collapsed! Paradise opened! The Lamb wins!
That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
