We speak of God being our Maker. He is our Maker, not only of Genesis, but in the present. The One who could take dust and make man, and the One who could take clay and heal blind eyes, is the same One who is making and molding you and me. He makes all things new. He takes the broken stuff of our lives and makes a thing beauty. His creation, even with us, is ongoing. Be grateful; your Maker’s hands are making you.
“Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” Genesis 2:7 (NASB). “If any person be in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away and behold new things have come” II Corinthians 5:17.
