To early Christians, Christ’s life, death on a cross, His triumphant resurrection and ascension, as foretold by the Scriptures, became their controlling worldview. It should be ours. Christ ushered in the Kingdom of God and nothing should turn us aside from it. Conspiracy theories can become an alternative scripture to explain life. These theories are modified with the changing events, and then abandoned and replaced with new ones when they are no longer plausible. Messiah’s Kingdom is shaping history and will be its final culmination. Let nothing turn you from that faith; let nothing else be your authority. Focus on the reality of Jesus, the living Truth of God.
