The Eternal Word descended from Heaven as the Son of God and became the Son of Man. He descended from God through the Virgin’s womb and became fully man while remaining fully God, in one new, perfectly indivisible nature. He ascended in the clouds back to Heaven as Daniel’s exalted Son of Man (Daniel 7:13). He ascended in the same body that came out of the grave. He now sits at the right hand of the Ancient of Days as the exalted Human to draw humanity into the fellowship of the Holy Trinity. He is doing this, even as we speak, by His ministry of intercession. Oh believer, the exalted, ascended Lamb’s intercession is essential to your final victory (salvation / deliverance / rescue / overcoming).
