Christ died once for all. He shed his blood for all time and for all people: For those who lived before Him and for those who lived after Him. He came for sinners: All sinners. His love seeks them all. His grace includes them all. His word of forgiveness came from the cross. His gift justifies. His blood sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12). Once for all! His sacrifice needs not be repeated. It is sufficient. It is adequate today for every person, everywhere!
“Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Hebrews 9:25-26 (NIV)
