God is committed to life and making dead things live. He delights in life. He teaches us to avoid what causes death. Life must be nourished. It needs food, water and light. It needs the Bread of Heaven, the Water of Life and the Light of the World. It needs the Breath of Heaven, without which we are dust. Our life is nourished by being with our Father, by abiding in the Vine and having the life of the Vine abiding in us.
