What is recorded in our brains may be fact or perception. It is there, nonetheless. Recorded there are both kindnesses received and wrongs suffered. We have a choice in that on which we dwell. The Bible says, “Love keeps no record of wrongs” 1 Cor 13:5 (NIV). Let that soak in! Reciting wrongs we have experienced show a lack of progress toward maturity in love. The strength of love has the power to expel all that is not like love, if we will let love do what love does.
Spirit of God, teach us how to release the wrongs and actively love the way Jesus taught us. Holy Spirit, keep shedding widely your love in our hearts until the whole is filled with You. Amen!
