Advent Glimpses of our Future
Jerusalem, the great city that David made the center of Israel’s kingdom will be restored; it was the focal point of Israel’s worship festivals. The New Jerusalem will rest upon the renewed earth; all the nations will come there to worship Messiah. It will be the crown piece of the renewed earth, and having come down out of heaven will marry heaven and earth. Man’s cities are imperfect and tainted with violence and sorrow; the New Jerusalem will be a city of perfect peace and joy. Blessed hope!
