The new creation will be the fullness of love given and returned in a beautiful inclusive circle of unimagined delight in the other. This future is to be our present. It is the foretaste of heaven’s delights, but it is also the identifying mark of the people of God now. Agape love is the essence of the Spirit’s fruit and the spring of justice and righteousness. Jesus is recreating us by love as citizens of Heaven and coming new creation.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35 (NASB)
