Becoming Godly
God does not boycott us from His love when we sin against Him. He does not go about in His world destroying folks that displease Him by their grievous sins (name the big ones). He still offers free grace to those who have rejected Him. His Spirit is on the trail of all who have walked away from Him. He does not unfriend us for wrong opinions. God still loves us when we even have wrong ideas about Him. He still loves us when we say inaccurate things about Him. He still loves us when we get upset with Him. He does not zap us for our imperfect teachings, impatient reactions, and hurtful attitudes.
Lord, we need Your help in becoming godly. We keep choosing sides. We stay mad at them because they don’t think like us. Help us to love the outsiders lest we find ourselves outside those who serve with godly unconditional love. Amen!
