When We Need It Most
We have a High Priest who knows our weaknesses, temptations and tests; before we were ever born He faced it all for us. Life has a way of jerking the rug from beneath our feet; He offers mercy when we need it most. When the trials and tests seem beyond our strength, He is there when we need Him most. When self-help and self-sufficiency have let us down again, there is helping grace from our helping Intercessor, just when we need it most. Never give up. Never quit. Never despair. Plug into the Throne of Grace, He will stand up and reach down to help you.
“This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.” Hebrews 4:15-16 (NLT)
