How you start your day is important.  Plead your situation before the Lord.  Give Him the difficult things in your life.  He hears the distress of the soul.  He is experienced in grief and sorrow.  Don’t forget to give Him the good things too.  Turning your face toward God at the beginning of the day has a way of setting your sail.  Setting your sail is about catching the wind of the Spirit for your day.

“Give ear to my words, O LORD; give heed to my sighing.  Listen to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I pray.  O LORD, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch.” Psalm 5:1-3 (NRSV)
