Grace fills you up when you pour it out on others. Pour out what God gives you, and you will find an inexhaustible supply. Give mercy; receive mercy. Give forgiveness; receive forgiveness. This is certainly not earning what you get by your own actions; that misses the point altogether. This is the law of generosity. We receive in order to give. Do you want more grace in your life? Then never miss an opportunity to give grace to another. Be like your grace-giving Father.
Father, thank You for the great grace You constantly give us. We want to be like You. Teach us how to be generous givers of grace. Fill us with Yourself as we keep pouring out what You have given us. Amen.
