One blight of this present time is that we are not present where we are. We are somewhere else, disconnected from our present place and the people God has placed around us. We are deceived by the myth of multi-tasking. It is the way you miss life. It is the way you miss what God is teaching you in this moment. This moment is a piece of God’s bigger plan for you. It is in living the moments that the bigger picture is being painted. Oh, “I AM”, help me to stop missing the burning bushes around me!
So Moses said, “I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up.” When the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” Exodus 3:3-4 (NASB)
