In my life I have gotten angry at the wrong times, at the wrong people and in wrong ways; I even thought it was righteous anger.  Jesus used His anger to speak against the injustices He saw in the temple, and the exclusion of the poor, the last and the least, from the great faith of Israel.  He never used it to defend Himself nor to try to control others; it was never rooted in the emotions of having a bad day.  It was always about advancing the cause of His Father.

“Be angry, and do not sin: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil” Eph 4:26-27 (NKJV).
