Lord, give us eyes to see needs that glances never capture. Give us ears to hear cries of distress that occur in ordinary conversations. Give us a vision that sees possibilities in impossible situations. We want to know how to live in faithfulness. May we know how to use our hands in tenderness to lift burdens. Grant us discerning spirits to do thoughtful actions that provide real ministry to those around us that we often miss by our preoccupations. Amen!
“Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself” Galatians 6:1-3 (NASB).
