“I would rather make mistakes in kindness and compassion than work miracles in unkindness and hardness,” -Mother Teresa. There are methods of ministry that are unchristian. We can do great harm while we are attempting to do good. It all comes back to what is in our heart. Love for power, acclaim and notoriety corrupts ministry. Harshness hurts the compassionate Christ. Let us give thought as to how we do the Lord’s work.
Holy Spirit, work in me, Oh Spirit of Christ, so that all of my ministry may be compatible with His and so that all of my service would blend seamlessly with the attitude that was in Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen
