Those who have encountered and experienced the resurrection of Christ in their own lives have a new mindset. They move from seeking earthly things to seeking heavenly things. They experienced their own death to experience the power of His resurrection. Their previous life was wrapped up in the world and what it had to offer and now they have come to a place where their life is “hidden with Christ in God.” The evidence that this has happened, and is happening, is that they have a new mindset, a new focus, a new vision of reality. Their center has shifted; their life is being daily transformed.
“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.” (Colossians 3:1–4 ESV).
