We think what we think. Many factors influence that. Culture. Family. Experiences. Heredity. We are called to have a renewed mind. Repentance is a change of mind. To follow Jesus, we must change our old ways of thinking and take on His way of thinking. “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Philippians 2:5. We are to bring every thought under the Lordship of Christ. The Holy Spirit helps us to do that as we depend on Him.
“Making every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Cor 10:5)
