“His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace” (Isa 9:6). The amazing titles of Messiah are mind boggling. They do not spring from oratory or rhetoric. They express the awesome reality and sweeping magnitude of the One who has come to us. He is to be held in awe and is worthy of our worship. We must not reduce Him to a manageable Messiah. He is greater than our mind can grasp.
