In John 21 the resurrected Messiah “manifested Himself” to the disciples who had gone back to their nets. The Risen One always shows up with the two or three, but He does not always manifest Himself. He even comes to those who may have despaired of the whole Messiah “adventure” and “gone back to their nets”. How could they lose focus? Why do we? Oh Lord, don’t let us go! May we endure having seen the invisible One!
