“Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering” (Matthew 5:23-24 NASB). When we are worshiping God, our brothers and sisters are in that mix. When I can be reconciled with you, then my worship is better. If the reconciliation cannot be made complete, I will still worship, albeit, with hidden pain. I want to do all that I can to be reconciled with you. Apologies, forgiveness extended, forgiveness received, misunderstandings cleared, etc., all of these affect worship, because it is “Me, You and God”.
