You are a part of my maturity and I am part of yours. Most of the time we do not know that it is happening. We would likely think it could not happen for this or that reason. Growth is about how we handle all of the relationships in our lives. The people we think may be hurting us may be the ones helping us. The very one encouraging you is being matured by that act as well as boosting you on your journey. We are somehow in the same growth garden, both needing to mature. God even uses enemies to mature us; He is wanting us to be a means of their maturity.
“This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.” Ephesians 4:13 (NLT)
