Mary stood nearby when Jesus was crucified. She watched Him bleed through her tears. Overwhelmed with grief! Her mind is confused. Old prophecies make no sense! The unjust mistreatment of Jesus feels like a crushing stone. Her pain is indescribable as the execution unfolds. The soldier’s sword cuts out her heart. Mary’s song on this day would have been a great lamentation! To love Him is to feel His suffering. Stand nearby!
