God redeclared womanhood “very good” when he entered the world through Mary’s womb: “born of a woman.” Eve, the first woman came from the body of the first Adam. The second Adam (Jesus Christ) came from the body of a woman. Mary is the beginning of the gospel for “male and female” that lifts women from being second class citizens in the kingdom of God. Thus begins the emancipation of woman, made in God’s image.
“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus” Gal 3:27-28 (NASB).
