“Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground” Genesis 2:7. God takes a little dust, makes clay and makes a man. This God gets His hands dirty with humankind, again and again, but is still committed to the whole human race. Look at this commitment in Jesus. “All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made…the Word was made flesh” John 1:3, 14. Jesus, who made a man of clay, became a man of clay. The heavenly became earthly that we we could become heavenly (1 Corinthians 15:42-49). New creation! On the great resurrection morning, our new creation body will be just like Jesus’ resurrected body. Stick to the Man of Clay; we are going somewhere. In Him we have a future and a hope. Hallelujah!
