Most of us remember the story of the children’s Christmas pageant where the little boy acting as the inn keeper could not turn Joseph and Mary away, gladly inviting them in. It “messed up” the play, but we all cheer for the heart that was in that child. May that be what is in our heart! Everything invades our lives; we allow too much in us that creates “no room”. Oh Lord, forgive us! Is it not time to clean house and kick a bunch of junk out so there is plenty of room for Jesus? We need in our heart what was in that little boy’s heart. Holy Spirit, make it so! Amen!
