God uses the power of love to heal humans. The promised Rescuer could never have delivered us from the power of sin and death without His incarnate love. Brutal force and raw power could not win. Love has power to restore us to health, both when we receive it and when we share it. Jesus met the forces of evil with the higher force of conquering love. Love lifts crushing loads and heals broken hearts. It is the holy way we walk.
“Rise up and help us; redeem us because of your unfailing love.” Ps 44:26 (NIV). “Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days” Ps 90:14 (NIV).
