Life is a test of the nature of the love that is in us. Life will reveal our love for others or our extreme love for self. It will give us choices that disclose our agendas and motives; it will manifest our very heart. What we love permeates all of our life work. “On the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done” (1 Corinthians 3:13b NLT). “Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT). Those who love are born of God and those who are born of God love (1 John 4:7-8). Lord, may Your fire burn so fully in us that only love flows out of us.
