Love your neighbor as Christ loves you. Until we do that, we are Christians in name only. Christianity is more than church membership, baptism and following a moral and ethical code. It is about being part of a Kingdom bent on loving friends and enemies, neighbors and foreigners, peers and aliens in the same way Christ has loved us. “The love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit” (Romans 5:5) so we can do just that. The world will be increasingly changed when we are more than Christians in name only.
