Speak With Love. The presence of love contributes to charitable discourse. Its absence is the cause of too much polarization. You listen to those whom you love. You ab-normalize those that you don’t love. For Christians to speak in un-Christian ways reflects on the church, our Lord and our faith. The cure is to get love out of its shadow box, displayed as a trophy we claim to adore, and get it into our hearts, minds, behaviors and conversations. Love affects speech. No one is interested in looking at love in our shadow box. They are waiting for unconditional love that is embodied by those who name the name of the Lord.
“Let all that you do be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 (NKJV)
