You can’t truly love without getting hurt. Even God can’t. People may reject and spurn your love. They may ignore it and treat it as a worthless thing. They may use it and then cast you in the dirt and walk away. The love object can choose to accept or reject love. That is the nature of our God-given freedom. Hell will be to finally realize that what was walked away from was pure love. Heaven is to fully receive and give love.
