We want to be a disciple without discipline. We like Christianity without a cross. We desire the fruits of faith without faithfulness. We want worship without sacrifice. We long to have Him without giving up things that compete with Him. We cannot walk His way and get our own way. We cannot give our heart to Jesus and hold on to our own plans. When we confess Him as Lord we must let Him be Lord of all, not part.
