When Christians fail to act like Christians, the cause of Christ suffers. Our precious Lord is still wounded in the house of His friends. People have a general knowledge of Jesus, and they often know when Christians are not acting like Him. The early disciples’ lives said that they had been with Jesus. These Jesus look-alikes were called Christians. Their manner of life pointed to Jesus. May we, as Christians, live like the Christ we say we follow!
