There is a way of living that ends in death. There is a way of dying that ends in life. There is a way of dying and living that looks like the dying and living of Christ. There is a kind of solidarity with Christ that brings life, health and wholeness. There is a place where the old self dies and the new self is born. There is a place where the faithfulness of Christ has become my faith and faithfulness toward Him. Oh, Spirit of Christ, keep bringing us to that place.
“I am crucified with Christ. I am, however, alive – but it isn’t me any longer; it’s the Messiah who lives in me. And the life I do still live in the flesh I live within the faithfulness of the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 (Kingdom NT)
