When the Lion lies down with the lamb, the lamb wins. A lamb cannot defend itself against a lion. Lions roam, compete, hunt, fight, kill and devour the weak. It is a world in which the strong triumph and the weak are sacrificed. The Lamb of God said “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” The Lion of the Tribe of Judah did not triumph by being a lion, but by being the Lamb. He taught against lion ways and commended lamb ways. One day all of creation will know that He had it right. Lay down your lion ways; park yourself by the Lamb of God and let the Lamb win in your life, everyday!
“The wolf shall live with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the kid, the calf and the lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze, their young shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. The nursing child shall play over the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put its hand on the adder’s den.
