The Genesis creation story starts with an unformed earth covered by turbulent waters. The Spirit brooded over these turbulent waters like a heavenly Dove hatching a new earth. The creating Spirit is hovering over your life to bring about new creation; He is seeking to form the unformed things in your life, not just into any old shape, but formed in the likeness of your Maker. He made you in His image; sin in your life caused turbulence and every manner of disorder. He is bringing you back to the intent of the original image by making you like your Teacher.
