“LORD,…Let me know how transient I am.” Do you know yet how short your earthly days really are? A vapor! Wilting grass! A fading flower! A breath! A sigh! A blink of the eye! O Lord, teach us to not waste our time nor the gifts you have given us. We have today and this moment to do good, to serve and give ourselves to You by serving and giving ourselves to others. Help us not to fritter away this precious gift called life. Help us to glorify you all of our days. Amen!
“LORD, make me to know my end And what is the extent of my days; Let me know how transient I am. Behold, You have made my days as handbreadths, and my lifetime as nothing in Your sight; surely every man at his best is a mere breath.” Psalm 39:4-5 (NASB)
