The privileged have their own particular set of complaints that the poor cannot relate to nor even comprehend.  We complain about goods and services not being the best, when sometimes the poor have none of the things of which we complain.  Jesus said, “The poor you always have with you”; He certainly did not mean we can sigh and say, “Oh, well!”  The truth is, they are always with us to test our compassion, the test of giving to others the gifts and graciousness we have received from God.  He came to us in our poverty with the gifts of grace.  If we can give it away, it is pretty good evidence that we have received it.
