Life is difficult, but God is praying for you! The overcoming Christ is praying for you to overcome. He is committing Himself to your success and is praying against your failure. He is for you. He is not against you. He died on a cross and descended into death for you. He ascended and is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession on your behalf. He has given you His Spirit, His praying Spirit to live inside of you to groan and pray through you. Don’t give up. Don’t give out. Keep pressing on the upward way.
“Father, teach us how to discover the One who prays within us so that we may pray with Him what He prays for us. May we learn to listen to His prayers as we compose our prayers. Your Spirit’s asking is always in the will of God, ours is tainted with self-interest. You know what is better for the Kingdom than do we. Give us an ear sensitive to the Spirit and a willing heart in all of our praying. Amen!”
