The darker the night the brighter the stars. Night cannot put out the Light. A candle shows brighter when it is pitch black. Quit blaming the dark for the problems of the world. We have become pros at cursing the darkness. We have hidden our lights under our agendas. We have preached fear, when we should have been preaching hope. We have become too anemic for a radical gospel. Our Light is Christ in us. The staff that holds the light up is our obedient witness. The thing that compels us to carry it is love.
