Don’t worry about what you don’t know, but start acting on what you do know. Why do we wait to act until we get more and more knowledge? Knowledge is inexhaustible. Learning goes on and on while obedience waits in the wings. Light shines all around us while “walking in the light” is postponed. Discipleship that is only about lessons to be learned is partial without boots on the ground. Learning is necessary but must not be an escape from true discipleship.
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24 ESV).
