There is in the human psyche a desire to be more than acquainted with the God of the universe. We want to know Him more than know about Him. We want to feel His embrace, hear His heart beat and know that He cares. We practice many things with this end in mind: prayer, quietness, contemplation, meditation. God is real. He wants to be known. He makes Himself known through the Son and Spirit. Intimacy is possible!
