His business is not merely what we do; it is what we are. It is not just avoiding bad thoughts; it is to have our thinking so changed that goodness flows out of pure thoughts, untainted by self-serving intent or motives. If you want a deeper life, then get away from shallow thinking. Through communion with our Lord we can stop thinking the way the culture thinks and think like citizens of another kingdom think; out of His ways of thinking we find another way of living, acting and being in the world.
