Our God is holy, but approachable. He is exalted, but near. He is infinite, but intimate. Paul, in speaking of the Unknown God, said to those at Athens, “That they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:27). This fact is mind boggling. The God of the universe is near to “each one”. Paul says that we are related to Him for, “We are His children.” We are related for relationship. He desires nearness, companionship and partnership. What an awesome God!
