Jesus is called the Prince of Peace (Isa 9:6). He creates peace between God and humans (Rom 5:1), and when He is obeyed, between humans and humans. His kingdom citizens are peacemakers, and thus are children of God (Matt 5:9). He does not rule by totalitarian control, or forced submission, and call it peace. He does not crucify nor behead to establish His rule in the world. Instead, He was crucified for all humans. The King of Peace does not force His kingdom by terrorism and violence, but took upon himself the terror of the Romans in order to establish His peace. The subjects of the King of Peace are people of peace!
“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.” Colossians 3:15 (NKJV)
