The world wants kings that will give them bread aplenty. Jesus multiplied bread to feed thousands. His kingdom citizens are commanded to feed the hungry. It is no accident that the King of Bread was placed in a manger (feeding trough). He is the true Manna from Heaven that gives life to the world. We are all starving paupers who have found this Bread and are delighted to invite one and all to come to the table with us. We go out and find them anywhere we can, because He wants His house filled with guests (Lu 14:23).
“For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Then they said to Him, “Lord, give us this bread always.” And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:33-35 (NKJV)
