When I saw my own sin and looked to Jesus, He did not fail me. When I saw my unclean heart, He washed me.  He did not fail.  When it looked like grief would overwhelm me, Jesus did not fail me.  When I thought I could not go on another step, He did not fail.  When I had lost my way, I heard the Shepherd calling my name in the night.  When others forsook me, He came through.  He did not fail.  When I could not walk, He picked me up and carried me.  He did not fail.  When the enemy tried to mock hope, I saw the Resurrected One standing at the door of my tomb. Jesus did not fail me.  He cannot fail!  He will not fail!   Because of this, none of His own will ever be a failure.

When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.  But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” Matthew 14:26-27 (NASB)
