The most important thing we can do in every moment and every situation is to trust Jesus. Things and people have a way of edging into His spot, so we end up not trusting our Lord. In the middle of your confusion, uncertainty, oppression, temptation, flashbacks, weakness, grief, darkness, storms, etc., start saying “Jesus, I trust you!” Keep repeating it as many times a day as is necessary to keep you focused. The Accuser, Satan, cannot stand this prayer. It will not only keep you focused; it will settle your spirit.
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
