Jesus became one with all of humanity; this includes every race and ethnic group.  We cannot hate any without hating Jesus.  We cannot discriminate against any race without discriminating against Him.  We cannot silently ignore the pain and injustice heaped on any group without ignoring the one we call Lord.  Jesus came to us through a despised race; anti-semitism is still with us.  Since Jesus became one with all humanity, the one who meets you at the end of your journey may well have the skin color and facial features of the ones you now dislike.  If you do not love that, you do not yet grasp the meaning of the incarnation; if you do not love that, then you are not prepared to live in His coming future.

“They sing a new song: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slaughtered and by your blood you ransomed for God saints from every tribe and language and people and nation; you have made them to be a kingdom and priests serving our God, and they will reign on earth’” Revelation 5:9-10 (NRSV).
